OSO BENEFIT - THANK YOU!
A huge thank you to everyone who bought tickets and/or made donations to the dinner last Sunday for the people affected by the mudslide in Oso. Because of your generosity, we are able to send $5,700 to Father Sauer in Arlington and Darrington to help with his work with those people. A big thank you, too, to Shawn Hoffman at IGA for donating some of the food needed, to Mary Lee Hutchinson for hand making all the delicious rolls, and to the anonymous donors who paid for the other supplies needed, so that all the proceeds could go directly to the people. Finally, thank you to all who worked so hard to make this a successful event. Thank you to the students of the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Religious Education class for serving the dinners and bussing the tables, and the adult crew who were working behind the scenes. May God specially bless each and every one of you. You have stepped forward and done what He has asked us to do.
