Your donation to our 2014 Matching Gift Campaign can be 4 times more powerful for families in dire need overseas. In other words, your gift of $50 can be worth $200 of lifesaving assistance. Through your donation to this campaign, CRS can increase the power of your gift, thanks to our cost-share agreements with various U.S. government agencies. So many vulnerable children, women and men are counting on your help. Please make a lifesaving donation today by contributing as much as you can to CRS. It can go 4 times as far. Extra envelopes are in the office and the narthex. Thank you for helping Jesus in disguise.

Save the Date: Divine Mercy Sunday Lamb Roast and Potluck.
Hosted by the Sheard family and other parishioners here at St. John Vianney on Sunday, April 27th. CRS Rice Bowl - For Lent, For Life
Each Lent we are asked to reach out to those in need by contributing to Operation Rice Bowl. We join with other Catholics across America as the Body of Christ to help others both in foreign countries and here in the US. The Rice Bowl website, , has interactive activities for your family and even an app to put on your phone. Please give generously. What we give up for Lent can make a difference.

"Mr. Ives' Christmas," a novel by Oscar Hijuelos, will be discussed at the group's next meeting from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Sunday, April 6, in the conference room at St. John Vianney Church, 16100 115th Ave. SW. John McCoy will facilitate the discussion. All are welcome. The novel deals with finding spiritual peace in the midst of the senseless murder of a child.
