NOW HIRING: PASTORAL ASSISTANT FOR FAITH FORMATION & RCIA
St. John Vianney Parish is now hiring for the position of Pastoral Assistant for Faith Formation & RCIA. Duties include directing and supervising our adult and child faith-formation programs, and assisting with parishioner sacramental preparation, especially the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults. We are looking for someone willing to work between 8-10 hours per week. 
Aug.1 is the start date for this new position.
Those interested may pick up an application and job description from the Parish Office. Father Marc will contact candidates personally to schedule interviews. Interested candidates please apply immediately as we hope to begin scheduling interviews the week of June 23rd. The Interviews will continue until the position is filled.

Bring your extended family and friends and share this wonderful meal with your greater Vashon community.
Tickets go on sale the first weekend of July. Volunteer sign up sheets will be available then too.

Please bring in your items into the church now and we will store them until the sale. No clothes, TVs or computers. (If Granny’s won’t take it then we can’t either)

Making Friends with Christ: A Silent Retreat for Women Aug 16-18, 2013 Fr. Jordan Bradshaw, O.P.
This traditional, silent, group retreat will offer large group conferences as well as time for individual and communal prayer, spiritual reading, reflection and devotions. Fr.
