Mary as a role model for 21st century women
Women’s Lenten Retreat

Sister Joyce Cox, BVM will be leading a Lenten retreat for women on Saturday, March 28th 10-3pm at St. John Vianney. Time is provided for individual and community prayer, spiritual reading and reflection, with opportunities for sacred silence and sharing.

SUPPORT CRS

Feed Jesus’ hunger in suffering refugees through the USCCB Department of Migration and Refugee Services (MRS). Give water to quench Jesus’ thirst in the people of Bolivia and Ethiopia through the humanitarian work of Catholic Relief Services (CRS). Offer legal assistance to Jesus in struggling immigrants through the Catholic Legal Immigration Network, Inc. (CLINIC). Reach out to comfort Jesus’ loneliness in isolated workers through the pastoral work of the USCCB Secretariat for Cultural Diversity in the Church. Advocate on behalf of Jesus in the poor and abandoned through the public policy work of the USCCB Department of Justice, Peace, and Human Development. Send aid to Jesus in the victims of natural disasters through the Holy Father’s Relief Fund.

We are delighted to welcome Fr. Tom Vandenberg to our parish community as he helps us explore the Sacrament of Matrimony, focusing especially on what distinguishes it from all other marriages.

Hurry only stations 2, 7, 9-14 remain. Please adopt a station of the cross for 2015. The effort is about a half hour a month and requires you to keep the area looking tidy.

CATHOLIC ADVOCACY DAY, MARCH 26
The parish St. Vincent de Paul Society invites you to join them at Catholic Advocacy Day in Olympia on Thursday, March 26. The 2015 session of the Washington State Legislature will make crucial decisions on funding education, housing, mental health, and programs for the most vulnerable. The day includes Mass, legislative briefings, and meetings with lawmakers. You can pre-register at www.ipjc.org or sign up the day of the event. Pancake Breakfast

Mark your calendar… Our pancake breakfast celebrating the Easter season will be Sunday, April 19th

Easter Lily Fundraiser Order an Easter Lily in honor of someone living OR in memory of someone who has passed away. Once the lilies arrive, a sticker will be attached with the person’s name who is being honored/remembered. The lilies will be placed around the church and sanctuary on Easter and will remain there through the Easter Season. The cost is $15 per Lily.
