Salmon Bake!! Sunday, July 26th 1:30-4:30
Counting down the weeks to the Salmon Bake, just two left to go!! And weather appears to be more cooperative, at last. Please get your tickets early, and don't forget the 50/50 and Ace Hardware raffles, as well as bidding for a pizza dinner spot at the Bardeens! Bake and rummage sales promise great dividends. Volunteers, you will be hearing from your team leaders soon. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!

Vacation Bible School
A Ride on the Wings of Prayer with the Amazing Angels and Super Saints

We are excited to announce that Vacation Bible School will be taking place at St. John Vianney August 17 - 21st (9:30-1:00) for kids ages 5-11. 12-14 year olds are also encouraged to participate as helpers! The theme of the week will be "A Ride on the Wings of Prayer with the Amazing Angels and Super Saints". Registration forms are in the vestibule and are due by June 30th. Book Group discusses "Abounding in Kindness"
on Sun, July 12
The Vashon Ecumenical Book Group will discuss Abounding in Kindness: Writings for the People of God by Elizabeth A. Johnson from 4 to 5:30 pm, Sunday, July 12, in the conference room at St. John Vianney Church. David Giusti will facilitate the discussion. All are welcome. Johnson, a creative and influential Catholic theologian, brings a feminist perspective to the central themes of Christian faith.
