March 25: Good Friday – 7:30 PM
March 26: Easter Vigil – 8:30 PM
March 27: Easter Day – 10:00 AM
There will be no daily Mass Monday, March 28 through Friday, April 1. Father will be on vacation.
You and yours are invited to a traditional 'cordero al asador' lamb spit roast, April 3, 2016 2:30pm.
We'll gather at 2:30 to watch the final stages of the roast, taking it off the fire at 3 to rest while we pray/chant the Divine Mercy Chaplet...and this year, venerate the relics of St. John Paul II and St. Faustina Kowalska.
Then we'll carve and serve the meal at 3:30. We'll be roasting all day; come when you can. Meat and flatbread will be provided. Appetizers, side-dishes, desserts and drinks will be potluck style, so bring your favorite dish. Hopefully weather will permit outdoor play of all kinds. All are welcome. Bring your friends and family and celebrate this 2nd Sunday of Easter with us.
Easter Season Pancake Breakfast following the 10:30 Mass on Sunday, April 3rd. Suggested donation: $5/person, $15/family.

STATIONS OF THE CROSS
Parishioners are invited to join in praying the Stations of the Cross on Fridays in Lent following Mass.
Lenten Soup Sundays
There are sign-up sheets in the vestibule for people to sign up to bring Soup or Bread for the Sundays of Lent (starting next Sunday). The soups/bread will be served after the 10:30 Masses in the Social Hall. Meat soups are fine as they will be served on Sundays, not Fridays.
Adopt a Station of the Cross
There are a few spots left for adoption. This would be a great family activity to keep your station looking good. The effort is about 30 minutes a month. Please contact the office to adopt a station.
The Church grounds are maintained by volunteers. We do not pay a landscaping company. The mowing season will soon be here and we need volunteers to mow the grounds. The effort is 2-3 hours every other Friday. We start at 9:30 AM. If you do not know how to run a mower we will teach you. Please call the office to sigh up or call Robert Kajca (253-579-4682) for additional information.
Ecumenical Book Group to discuss "Pastrix"
"Pastrix: The Cranky, Beautiful Faith of a Sinner & Saint," by Nadia Bolz-Weber, will be discussed by the Vashon Ecumenical Book Group from 4 to 5:30 pm, Sun., April 3, in the conference room at St. John Vianney Church. All are welcome. Bolz-Weber, a former stand-up comic who became a Lutheran pastor, tells the story of her unconventional path to faith.

There will be a St. Vincent de Paul collection after masses the weekend of March 12-13.
