DIVINE MERCY LAMB ROAST
Easter's octave feast culminated beautifully last Sunday on the feast of Divine Mercy.  Thank you to all the parishioners who helped make such a day possible: Mary Lawrence, Ben and Elizabeth Schaeffer, Andrew and Michelle Casad, Jaculin Dougher, Cynthia Delgado, Charles Lovekin, Collin and Rebecca Medeiros, Marcus and Kelly Daly, Jim Gilmour, Kathy Myer, Father Marc all those who brought food and the spontaneous volunteers who pitched in.  It was truly a grace-filled day with many mercies bestowed on us, including weather as we haven't seen in years on this day.  We even had a little miracle appear right as adoration of the blessed sacrament and relic veneration began, as captured here by Jaculin Dougher.  The light emanated from Jesus' heart and flowed over to the relics of St. Faustina and St. John Paul II, moving only after veneration ended.  Praise be to God for His Divine Mercy.  Jesus, we trust in you!

Dear SJV parishioners - we would like to announce an outreach opportunity. It’s “Fill the Baby Bottle” to benefit the singles Moms of the Jonestown Family Center in Jonestown, Mississippi. The money raised will be used for the Jonestown parenting program and to buy baby supplies for the children and parents in need. Please return the bottles by Mother’s Day, May 8th.  Checks can be made out to the Jonestown Family Center.
