The office needs another volunteer counter on Monday mornings to help with processing sacrificial donations collected over each weekend. Duties are to show up once or twice a month in any weather, operate a ten-key calculator and to take on the responsibility of helping to accurately sort the collections. Requires patience, intestinal fortitude, a background check, and the ability to enjoy conversation with the other counters. Experience helpful but not critical. Volunteer in person with Charles or Maria.

Heartfelt thanks to all of the talented, generous parishioners who contributed  a veritable wealth of beautiful and delicious baked goods to the Holly Daze Bake Sale. Not only did we raise money for our parish, we had countless happy and satisfied customers. The quality and quantity donated was incredible. Buyers marveled over the lovely pies, cakes, cookies, bars, breads, jellies, and candies. We exceeded our goal by raising $2147.63 thanks to all of you. You are amazing!             - The Bake Sale Belles

SJV Leaf Raking Party
The 2016 SJV Leaf Raking Party and Fall Clean-Up will happen on Saturday, Dec. 3rd, rain or shine (but let's hope for shine!).  We will work from 9:30 to 12:00.  The catechists' hope is to have 100% of our FF classes working together that day, alongside 100% of our FF families.   The Leaf Raking Party is a convenient, fun, and healthful chance for our children and for us parents to provide service to others.  Please put this event on the whole family's calendar. Please bring your rakes, blowers, tarps, and garden gloves. Soup buffet lunch to follow the leaf raking.  See you Dec. 3rd--we are raking late this year so there are plenty of leaves for all! Sign up on the sheet in the vestibule or contact Lucy Clarke.
