Remembering God’s Goodness
In Our Lives

Dear Brothers & Sisters in Christ:

A number of months ago I came across some precious treasures of our parish’s past – an open Time Capsule assembled back in 1964 when St. John Vianney Parish was established.   The Time Capsule is part of our parish’s archive and living history.  During this month of August, as we remember our patron St. John Vianney (actual feast day – August 4th), this month is a special time to remember God’s goodness in our lives reflected and celebrated in the faith, friendship, and family life of parishioners over the years.  I invite you to check out the Archive Display in the Church Lobby, it’s filled with items from the Time Capsule and other mementos of our parish’s history.  The display will be up through the end of August, 2018.  Enjoy.

Seeking Coffee Hour Volunteers!
The time parishioners spend together after Mass is important - it keeps us connected to each other and is a great time to meet someone new or welcome a new face or family! The Coffee Hour after the 10:30 Mass on Sundays needs a couple more volunteers to set up and serve the goodies. With a full set of volunteers, one would serve only once every 2 months! Please contact Irene Mali or Maria Pottinger for more info.
